Who We Are
Sustainable Development Forum (SUDEF) is a Kenyan NGO based in Webuye, working across Western Kenya to build ethical, export-ready value chains that improve livelihoods and strengthen local economies. Our work focuses on:

Ethical Trade & Social Audits
We support export-oriented SMEs and producer groups to meet social compliance and business human rights standards.
Value Chain Development
We work with cooperatives and self-help groups to strengthen indigenous fruit and vegetable value chains for local and export markets.
Training & Capacity Building
We deliver practical training on production standards, certification readiness, governance, and market requirements.
Market Access & Partnerships
We facilitate long-term market linkages between producers, buyers, and development partners.
Where We Work
SUDEF operates across Bungoma, Kakamega, Siaya, Homabay, Kisumu, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Vihiga, and Busia counties, with a focus on indigenous fruits and vegetables. Our programs prioritize inclusive growth, youth participation, and ethical sourcing from smallholder farmers.
